Before you start

• Booking.com access and the property’s Hotel ID.

Overview

Connect the property’s Booking.com account, map categories and rates, and reconcile bookings before opening sales. Use the chapters to follow each step in the recording and refer back to the written instructions.

Before the booking

Check categories and rooms before starting the connection. The recording uses a fictional property and a test channel.

The channel page

Open Operations and Channels to review categories, rooms and the available connection. The list shows the room count for each category.

Start the connection

Open the connection through the Booking.com button. The channel manager appears within InnSync.

The property identifier

Use the Booking.com property identifier to find the correct channel. Check that the identifier belongs to the property you intend to connect.

Map room categories

Match channel room types and rates to the corresponding InnSync categories. Review each mapping: sales are made by room category.

Save and activate

Save the mappings to add Booking.com to the channel list while it is still switched off. Under Actions, select Activate and confirm.

Check existing bookings

Reconcile existing bookings before selling. No nights open on the channel before this check.

Synchronize and check

Synchronize all resends rates and availability. The check compares the calendars night by night.
